Of course we have to pay attention, they are killing thousands of innocents.Tarkan wrote:Not really the stuff anyone should pay attention on.
You'd have to nuke the entire world, including your own country. Not a solution.brian wrote:Nuke 'em all.

Re: ISIS
I honestly do not really care about the latest news flashes.
First there was Ebola, would kill off the world.
Now there's ISIS with a lot of speculation going on.
I just call it natural selection.
The innocent people dying is a shame, but regrettable because in the end "the good will prevail".

Re: ISIS
ISIS are no more than a bunch of mercenaries. They get paid and in no way represent the Muslim culture, and certainly not everyone shares their views on what is law and order.
That's about it I guess.

I'm sure you've all heard about the recent ISIS attacks on France?

Re: ISIS
Yes, and it's said that ISIS members are in the process of planning to attack major cities, according to some 'insider', which is quite alarming because the Philippines's capital is included. With the ongoing APEC Summit here, there's a lot of speculation, and I am on high alert already since my area is quite near to the capital. Due to this, as much as possible, I do my best to stay away from work ('cause I work at the capital city of PH) and with APEC Summit ongoing, traffic is totally horrible anyway. Fear has already taken hold on many of our citizens here especially those who work in that particular city (like I do) and of course, those who live there. (however, many of us also don't give a single f*ck whatever the threat is lol)
In particular, Klaus and Richardo, and everyone else who's in Britain, stay alert. A terror warning from ISIS has already come out, saying that Britain is their next target, as claimed by their supporters.
ISIS was actually used to be al-Qaeda in Iraq, in case some of you guys didn't know.

Re: ISIS
Thanks for the heads up, I go in and out of London almost on a daily basis but I can't just stop doing what I do because of current events. In all fairness, we've been a target of ISIS for a long while but we've managed to stop any attacks being successful. I have confidence in our MI5 etc and our police but you can't help but think something could happen at any time.

Re: ISIS
I don't think ISIS will do anything on the Phillipines because what ISIS does is work very tidy and do unexpected things, now everyone expects them to show up over there makes me think they won't.
The chaos it created is exactly what ISIS wants, make the world realize it's very vulnerable, which it is.
If they were just a bunch of terrorists who act randomly they'd be terminated months ago.
I can't get myself to worry every single moment of the day that a person next to me might blow himself up to get me killed.
I just enjoy my life even though the things that happen all over the world.

Re: ISIS
Many "retaliation" acts have followed since the attacks on France in my country, even in my city.
Pretty much every single muslim/refugee is being targetted now, not even in their own homes are they safe, countless homes of people whom are known to be muslim or originating from any of those middle east countries have gotten rocks through the windows already.

The fact that they were already recruiting Muslim Filipinos in one of the biggest parts of our country (Mindanao), is quite threatening. Philippines is known for their strong faith in Christianity, with most of the population are Christians. If the top priorities of ISIS are "cities of the crusaders" like France, Britain and those within the area during the era of the Holy Roman Empire, it wouldn't be a surprise if they'd attack somewhere where there is strong concentration of Christianity, like Philippines. Plus, the thought that they would do something here, with the ASEAN presidents and leaders (especially economic leaders) gathered here for the APEC Summit, is a thing to look upon and something to be staying vigilant of.
...and holy sh*t, Philippines's military is quite a letdown to me imo, even if security here atm during the week of the summit looks like okay.

Re: ISIS
Since this is already being discussed I would like to share that anyone thinking that ISIS are Muslims then I might tell you that they are a bunch of retards who have nothing to do except for killing innocent people. They get paid to represent our ( Muslim ) culture as nothing more than bloodshed which is not true at all.
They're ruining peace, and they can do anything for paper.

Re: ISIS
@Brian Are these retaliation acts really directed at those involved? Not really.
@King I wouldn't say Briton has a strong concentration of Christianity, not since the 21st century anyway. South America and Africa have a much stronger concentration of Christianity than Europe as a whole.
@Doom They're not being paid, in fact they couldn't care less about money. This is about religion, and in this case extreme Muslim beliefs shared by people across the world.
