What do you guys think of this ???

This is the newest edition to Jackson guitars, to celebrate the anniversary. I quite like the pink finish actually.

Agreed, which is why my currently owned Jackson is red  

I prefer the Black one. A little more Metal into it I guess, heh.

I am not really much into instruments, but certainly an admirer of those who can play them.  

I'm planning to buy a guitar sooner or later, just have to get the money together.

Nigga i ain't gonna ask my mom or dad money all my life.
Anyway i been looking to either buy a Jackson or a ESP.

I wanted to get a Jackson bass until I actually tested one out. I was quite disappointed to be honest, it has a pretty crappy sound when plucked and seeing I'm not a big pick person on basses, I decided to skip on it.

Right now I have a Fender Jazz Bass (standard, came in black with white pickguard,but had it painted all black) and an acoustic one. Not really interested in expanding yet because both sound good and are of very good quality. As of other basses I've tested out an Ibanez and its just a good bass for poor men, so not my style.

I do have 1 keyboard and 2 acoustic guitars, one is already worn-out for being with me for like 12 years rofl. I'm not really skilled at playing a guitar but I'm planning to buy a bass guitar.

Thinking of what type of Strat I'll get when I upgrade my current one. This is the style I'm looking at:

Should I go with the simple look or something a bit more classy?

I'd say go for something traditional, honor the strat

Yeah, white is nice too. I think I defiantly would prefer a rosewood fingerboard in place of a maple fingerboard though.

I ain't that much of an expert regarding guitars but ..
How important are the looks of the guitar to you guys?
I mean, if it's cleaned, not damaged and sounds good, that's all you need in my book.
What about you?

Regarding colors, like I said above, I prefer black over any color.

Not just buying, I mean keeping it that way.

Well all guitars are kept that way, unless the owner doesn't care about his instruments.

Looks to me aren't that important, if the sound is perfect i.e perfect saddle for the strings to rest and perfect action for the feel then I'll play it.

I have a 25 year old 12-string Yamaha FG-420 with many bumps and scratches through years of wear and tear and I'd prefer playing that to any other 12 string I've ever picked up.

I get what both of you are saying, but to me the look is important.
